Environmental & Natural Resources

The Environmental Department is responsible for implementing several programs required by federal, state, and local laws that include: 

• A storm water management program.
• A solid waste and recycling management program.
• Collaborating on various conservation programs that are important to the community.

These activities serve to promote a clean and healthy environment for the enjoyment of Imperial Beach residents, businesses, and visitors.
