The City of Imperial Beach Jurisdictional Runoff Management Program (JRMP) (PDF) is a comprehensive plan that documents the multiple stormwater management activities that the City implements to effectively prohibit non-stormwater discharges to the stormwater conveyance system and reduce the discharge of pollutants to the maximum extent practical. The purpose of the JRMP is to organize and describe the strategies the City will implement to protect water quality. The strategies in the JRMP are informed by an adaptive management process built into the Water Quality Improvement Plans and are intended to be reviewed and updated as necessary to achieve the desired outcomes in water quality. This JRMP has been prepared in response to the 2013 Storm Water Permit (R9-2013-0001) issued by the San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board.
