Records are being added on an ongoing basis.  If you do not find what you are looking for, please submit a request through our Public Records Request portal, NextRequest.

The City of Imperial Beach is committed to providing prompt and courteous access to public records. All requests will be reviewed as soon as possible and responded to within 10 days, in compliance with the California Public Records Act.

You can request and receive public records through NextRequest, our online portal for electronically submitting requests. Please note that all email communications related to your request will come from "City of Imperial Beach, CA public records request."

Claims

To file a claim with the City, contact the City Clerk, Jacqueline Kelly. Claims for death or injury to a person or personal property or growing crops must be filed within six months from the date the incident or event occurred. All other claims must be filed within one year. Where space is insufficient, please use additional paper and identify information by paragraph number. Completed claims must be mailed or delivered to:
