Business Licenses

A comprehensive update to the City of Imperial Beach Master Fee Schedule is effective March 1, 2024 as approved by the City CouncilThis change will impact the cost of fees charged for services provided by various City departments such as permits, business licenses, fire inspections, safety and building inspections, or planning fees. Adjusting our fees to reflect inflationary pressures on City costs was necessary as most of our existing fees have been in effect without change since 2005.

The Self Service Portal will be closed for maintenance on Friday, March 1, 2024.

Permitting and Licensing fees will increase per the new City of Imperial Beach Master Fee Schedule when the site becomes available again. Thank you for understanding.
